About The Club

Meadowwood Tennis Club (MTC) is a not-for-profit community tennis and pickleball club located in the Rattray Marsh area of south Mississauga. We are a 100% volunteer run, seasonal facility (March to November).

The objective of the Club is to develop a community spirit and encourage sportsmanship and good fellowship amongst all member participants to the betterment of their physical, mental and social well-being.

MTC promotes a broad range of tennis and pickleball activities including group play, lessons, club tournaments and members social events. The Club is a preferred outdoor sport destination for members of all ages with 3 fully lit hard tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts (shared on one tennis court).

Land Acknowledgement

The Club acknowledges our presence on these lands as being part of the Treaty and Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, The Hadenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat and Wyandot Nations. We recognize these peoples and their ancestors as peoples who inhabited these lands since time immemorial. The Club shares this land responsibly, respectfully and sustainably and we respect the longstanding relationships with the local Indigenous communities.

Club By-Laws

The Club shall be governed by a Board of Directors who are all members of the Club in good standing and 18 years or older. The Club’s business shall be run by the Board which also includes an Executive consisting of the President, Vice-President (optional), Treasurer and Secretary and such other officers that may be appointed. All directors shall hold office until their successors are elected by the Club members at the annual general meeting.

Club Policies

Meadowwood Tennis Club is a not-for-profit community club providing opportunities for members to play tennis and pickleball. The objective of the Club is to develop a community spirit and encourage sportsmanship and good fellowship amongst all member participants to the betterment of their physical, mental and social well-being.

 

The Club policies provide guidance for all members when engaging in an activity on or around the Club facilities. All members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with expectations as outlined in the policies listed below.
